INOOK Ai ("INOOK", "we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit inook.in, register a business, make a payment or work with us as a client, how we use it, who we share it with and what control you have over it. It applies to this website and the services we deliver through it. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to.

By using this website or engaging us for a project, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the website. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you register through the website we collect the name, business name, email, phone, address, industry and any optional add-ons you choose to share. We do not collect data you have not provided.

After you become a paid client, a detailed onboarding form collects further business details needed to build your project, such as services, brand colours, asset and photo links, social profiles and the owner emails used for delegated access. We never ask for your account passwords through any form.

Payment information

Payments for INOOK projects are currently collected by UPI or bank transfer and verified manually. We record only the details needed to confirm and account for the payment, such as the transaction reference, amount and date.

Online payment on this website is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Where you pay through Razorpay checkout, your card number, UPI ID, net-banking credentials and similar financial details are entered on Razorpay's checkout and go directly to Razorpay. INOOK does not collect, see or store your card or bank credentials. What we receive back from Razorpay is limited to transaction data — payment ID, order ID, amount, status, date and the name, email and phone you entered at checkout — which we keep for accounting, invoicing, refunds and tax records. Razorpay's handling of your payment information is governed by its own privacy policy at razorpay.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we record basic technical information about your visit: browser type, device type, approximate location, IP address, pages viewed, referring URL and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to keep the site working and understand which pages are useful. You are not personally identified from this aggregate information.

How we use it

We use your details only to:

• respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote, paperwork and Scope of Work;
• deliver, support and hand over your project;
• process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds;
• send service updates about your project, and transactional email or SMS;
• improve the website and detect fraud, abuse or misuse; and
• meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising. If we ever need to use your information for a purpose not described here, we will ask for your consent first.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is needed to run the service, and only with parties who are required to protect it:

• Payment gateway — Razorpay, where you pay through Razorpay checkout, to process that payment and any refund against it.
• Service providers — the hosting, email, storage and analytics tools we use to operate the website and store registrations, including our Google Workspace and Google Sheets workspace and, where enabled, our database.
• Vendors working on your project — for example a photographer or printer for a confirmed add-on, limited to what that work requires.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law, a court order or a regulatory request, or is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and analytics

The site loads Google's tag (gtag) which may set cookies for measurement. If you pay through Razorpay checkout, Razorpay also sets cookies needed to complete that payment securely. You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep registration and project information for as long as you are a client and afterwards only as long as needed for support, warranty and legal purposes. Payment and invoice records are retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law. Information we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We follow reasonable security practices appropriate to the information we hold: access is limited to people who need it for their work, accounts are password protected, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we protect your information using industry-standard measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data sent to us over the internet.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or request its correction or removal, at any time by emailing the address below. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those emails, or by writing to us. We will act on your request within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

Third-party links

This website may link to third-party sites, tools or profiles. Those links are provided for convenience and do not imply our endorsement. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we suggest you read their privacy policies.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Please review this page periodically. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Governing law

This policy and your use of this website are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
