Apno Ke Naam — Tree Pledge
A gentle movement to plant, name and remember through a living tree.
Many of us lose someone we love. We light a lamp, share a memory, sometimes plant a small tree in their name. Apno Ke Naam is a small step further — a way to remember them through a tree that grows, breathes and adds to the world they left behind.
How it works
- You share the name and a short note about the person you wish to remember.
- We plant a sapling tagged with that name in a partner planting site.
- You receive the location and a photo over time as the tree grows.
Why we do it
India needs more trees. Memory needs gentle anchors. The two ideas pair well — and this is our quiet way of doing something useful with what we have.
